Full Time Retail Store Manager

Jacksons Drawing Supplies a long-established WA family-owned company, is seeking a Retail Store Manager (full time) in our Fremantle store.

As store manager you will be responsible for: (but not limited to)
• Leading, coaching, training, developing and managing colleague/s
• Recruitment of staff
• Contributing to brand awareness in the local market
• Building new relationships and attracting new customers
• Driving sales and store profitability
• Understanding local market requirements and trends
• Managing strong financial results and achievement of business KPI’s;
• Creating the unique store experience with high level customer service
• Store presentation to be maintained at an outstanding level
• Facilitating store requirements ie Stock levels, Order requirements, staffing etc
• Resolve and report on customer issues
• Ensuring company policy and procedures are followed at all times
 
The ideal candidate will:

• Have ENERGY, PERSONALITY and an excellent WORK ETHIC
• Have the ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as be part of a wider team
• Have previous experience as a Retail Manager
• Experience in staff rostering, recruitment, performance management and all aspects of building a successful team
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and build sales and service through exceptional store management
• Sound knowledge of retail requirements, stock control, cash handling, security and store presentation
• Be able to deal with difficult circumstances with a high level of resilience whilst giving great Customer Service
• Have proven ability to deliver against set targets
• Strong customer service focus
• Strong presentation and time management skills
• Sound art product knowledge & a genuine passion for art
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship building skills
• Ability to work without supervision and use own initiative
 
Position: Full Time – Monday to Friday (7.6 hours per day)
